Behind the Scenes: Designing Woff
A quick peek at the principles that drive our design decisions.

Woff is built on a few principles: clarity, speed, and focus.
We optimize common actions and keep UI elements purposeful and minimal.
Your feedback shapes our roadmap — keep it coming!
The interface follows the object being shared
Text should read like a message, images should open without losing context, and files should keep recognizable names and sizes. Woff avoids forcing every kind of content into the same card.
Speed is an interaction choice
Performance is not only a loading metric. It also means fewer decisions, visible upload progress, optimistic entries, and controls that appear where the user is already looking.
Temporary spaces need clear boundaries
The product communicates expiration, ownership, and recovery in the room itself. Those constraints are part of the design, not legal text hidden elsewhere.
Feedback becomes small, testable changes
We favor focused improvements such as better image markup, clearer unread states, or more reliable uploads over adding large feature areas without a strong sharing use case.
